The Day of the dead is a Mexican/Latin American holiday that is celebrated by acknowledging the deceased. Showing your love and respect for those who have past on is a yearly event for people in America and Canada.
“Traditions include building private altars honoring the deceased, using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed, and visiting graves with these as gifts.” From Wikipedia
I find it to be a loving and honorable moment in time when people come together to remember their ancestors and friends. This is my tribute to the spirits who have crossed over. I love and miss you all.
