Someone once told me that people do not buy art, they buy the artist. This web site will give you more insight on who I am as a person and an artist.

 With each painting, I have included my thoughts and feelings on how the painting came about. What inspired me to do it and so on. It is an inside look at my own motivations and inspirations.

 Many of you may remember Henwak Gallery years ago when I was promoting other artists as well as my own art work. I took the site down to rebuild it, and it took longer than expected.

  I decided to change the format a bit, but if you are an artist and you would like to be apart of the Henwak Gallery family of artists, please e-mail me and I will give you more information on how that can happen for you.

 Everyone always ask me how did Henwak Gallery come about. Well, Henwak (hen wok) is pronounced like a hen, as in chicken, and wok like a wok that you cook in. I put my maiden name, Henry, together with my married name, Walker, and created Henwak. I was an artist before I met my husband, so I always knew I would have a gallery one day. Hence came the unique name.
